1. Who we are

By creating an account or using Lento, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Lento. By using it you confirm you are.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity on your account. Tell us at hello@lento.fit if you suspect unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account → Delete account).

4. What Lento does

Lento is an AI-assisted food journal and nutrition tracker with a coaching assistant. You log meals by photo, voice, text or barcode, and Lento estimates calories, macros and micronutrients and offers general guidance. Lento is a wellness and informational tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment (see Section 9 and our Disclaimer).

5. AI-generated content & estimates

Nutrition figures and coach responses are produced with the help of artificial intelligence and are estimates and general information. They can be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for how you interpret and use them, and you should verify anything important. Do not rely on Lento for decisions that require professional advice.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use Lento unlawfully; attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorized access to it; upload content that is illegal or infringes others' rights; or use it to harm yourself or others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add (meals, photos, notes). You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

8. Subscriptions & payments

Some features may require a paid plan ("Pro"). Where offered, paid plans are billed through the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) or another payment method shown at purchase; prices, billing period and what's included are shown before you pay. Where the law gives you a right of withdrawal/refund (e.g. EU consumer rules), that right applies. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period unless stated otherwise.

9. No medical advice; use at your own risk

Lento does not provide medical, nutritional-therapy, psychological or other professional advice, and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Always consult a professional before making significant changes to your diet, exercise or health, and never disregard professional advice because of something in the app. If you have or suspect a medical condition (including an eating disorder), seek professional help. You use Lento at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lento is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for decisions or outcomes resulting from your use of the app or reliance on its estimates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer under EU/Romanian law.

11. Indemnity

You agree to cover reasonable losses we incur due to your misuse of Lento or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Changes to the app or Terms

We may update, change or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new "Last updated" date; material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, and the courts of Romania have jurisdiction — without depriving you of the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live (for EU consumers, the protections of your home country still apply).
